Just earlier this month some chosen representatives of Discovering Hospitality magazine, including myself had a chance to revel in all there was to see and taste at the Whisky Live & Bar Show held at the Shangri-La in BGC. Here’s a quick rundown of this big event that was packed with people, games, drinks, and of course fun!
The first thing you should know about Whisky Live is that they have been to notable cities all over the world such as London, Tokyo, and New York and it is their 6th time coming to Manila. From single malts to bourbons they showcased over 183 types of liquor from all over the world. If you are a true whisky fan then you need to keep your eye out for their event next year. Other than whisky they also had some rums, beers, and tequila that you could sample at different booths.
As you enter the event area, you’ll be greeted by the registration section where it was organized and a much quicker process than last year’s event. If you want to speed things up for yourself then it’s best to buy your tickets online instead of on site. Just make sure you have your confirmation email or information ready to go on your phone and it will take less than a few minutes to be through with registration. Once inside the area, you’ll be given a reusable bag with some water and a whisky glass and you’re ready to go.
