Bristol will soon get a taste of Chinese-inspired cocktails in a new bar, set to open on January 29.
The owners claim that Jaded Dragon will be the UK’s first Chinese Tiki Baijiu bar. The bar will serve a range of cocktails and specialise in baijiu, a popular Chinese spirit.
The Jaded Dragon team, led by co-owners Ben Salguero and Ed Sargent, along with business partner Kedar Subedi, bring a wealth of experience to the table. Their successful venture, the Thai tapas restaurant Mangosteen, is a testament to their expertise. They believe that there is a gap in the UK market for a bar selling baijiu, and are confident in their ability to fill it.
While many bars across Europe may have one type of baijiu available, Ben said Jaded Dragon is the first in the UK to be dedicated to baijiu:
Ben's commitment to quality is unwavering. He said: “We are going to have the biggest collection in Europe. We’re going to demonstrate all of the flavors where possible. I’ve got stuff coming over from China that’s never been in the UK before.” This dedication to offering the best of baijiu ensures that Jaded Dragon will be a unique and exciting addition to Bristol's bar scene.
