Fairmont Windsor Park, owned by Arora Group, has announced that Joanna Barnett has been appointed General Manager.
Barnett joins Fairmont Windsor Park after a 12-year tenure at The Grove in Hertfordshire. Most recently, she served as hotel manager, overseeing the property’s operations, group sales, and revenue management. She began working at The Grove in 2013 and progressed through a series of senior leadership roles, including director of events and food and beverage.
Barnett started her career in hospitality with a place on the Savoy Group Management training program. The five-year program saw her gain experience across the group, including The Connaught, The Savoy, Wiltons, and The Berkeley Hotel.
Before the Grove, Barnett’s career also included stints at Browns Hotel and The Landmark London.
At Fairmont Windsor Park, Barnett succeeds Ryan Nicholls, who has served as general manager since March 2022 and now takes on the role of project development director at the Arora Group, based at the Group’s Head Office.
