The 32nd PTAA Travel Tour Expo, Beyond Borders, took the spotlight early this month, with over 300 exhibitors filling up the halls of the SMX Convention Center Mall of Asia.
Representatives of the hospitality, travel and tourism industries from around the country attended this largest annual travel and tour exposition, organized by the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) from February 7th to 9th, 2025.
For three days, the 32nd PTAA Travel Tour Expo became a melting pot of travel aficionados, business representatives, and marketing executives who aimed to connect with exhibitors and take advantage of travel deals, discounted flights, tour packages, big discounts, and special rates that were exclusive to the event.
Among the exhibitors were the 16 Department of Tourism (DOT) regional branches, local and international airline companies, tour agencies, hotels and resorts, nature retreats and spas, embassies, cruise liners, theme parks, asian travel companies and more, all sparking the interest of people planning their family vacations, adventure travels, staycations and corporate events.
Known for its big discounts and travel deal offerings, this year’s Travel Tour Expo certainly was grander and more vibrant than ever, with the event participants exhibiting their booth with three-dimensional installations, interactive games, audio-visual presentations, and not-to-mention through the warm, jovial, and heartfelt reception from their representatives.
For instance, there was Discover Hong Kong holding an amazing race-inspired game to showcase HongKong’s famous landmarks over a prize at the end; major airlines like Sunlight Air, the new boutique airline, brought their booking staff on-site to assist customers with their limited low fares, the DOT booths exhibited their region’s travel operators and destinations, as well as their organic local products; and on center stage was a series of captivating performances and colorful presentations rendered by the major participants.
Other exhibitors in attendance were TravelGeeks, Zoomanity Group, Hotel101 Group, Coron Soleil, Anya Resorts, Tampay sa Sinagtala, Mountain Lake Resort Caliraya, House of Travel, Inc. Air Asia, Emirates, Club Punta Fuego, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Forest Crest Nature Hotel & Resort, Roxaco Asia Hospitality, Sunlight Air, Estancia de Lorenzo Nature Farm and Events Venue, Delfines Hotel Management, Venus Parkview Hotel Baguio, Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort, El Nido Gardens Resort, Maxihome Land and Development Inc., Danao Adventure Park Bohol, World & Schedule Medical Tourism Agency, and more.
